The Pain Scale

The very BEST way to get any nurse or doctor to dismiss your migraine episode pain is to describe it as a 10 or even an 11 on a 10 point scale. A "10" in the USA medical field means "Pain so severe that immediate long term hospitalization is absolutely necessary as the pain is so very high as to be life threatening in and of itself."
