Garage layer paint vs epoxy paint

Hey guys im thinking about painting my garagefloor with a nice coat of normal garage paint or an epoxy based paint. the groound where the paint/coat will come on is basic concrete wich isnt layed flat (minor defects in it) what are your experiences
