I recently started to redo some NFL uniforms, fueled by a thread in the sports logo concepts forum at Chris Creamer's website. Though the changes are ground breaking, they do have some subtle changes that just made a huge impression on me, so I was driven to start to take those concepts and incorporate them for this game.
